Major progress! I went to the local Lego reseller store today and bought as many parts as I could find out of their bins.
I was able to completely finish the center base and the right wing of the Death Star. This allowed me to snap on the other few sections that I have already built.
Work will have to wait a few days, as I have to order more parts to complete the wings.
